Studies on the Safety Assessment of Cervus Elaphus Extract for Aqua-Acupuncture

Abstract
|
|
|
This experiment was carried out to study on the safety assessment of Cervus elaphus extract for aquaacupuncture. Test material was manufactured by "Water-Alcohol method". Rabbits were used for rabbits for skin and eye irritation test and rats for
medium-term carcino-genicty test.
@ES The results were summarized as follows.
@EN 1) When Cervus elaphus extract for aqua-acupuncture was applied at the skin, any irritating effects were not observed.
2) When Cervus elaphus extract for aqua-acupuncture was applied at the eye balls, any irritating effects were not observed.
3) There did not show any carcinogenic promotive effects with cervus elaphus extract for aquaacupuncture.
In conclusion, there were not observed skin and eye irritation effects nd medium-term carcinogenicty with Cervus elaphus extract for aqua-acupuncture.
So Cervus elaphus extract for aqua-acupuncture is considered to have high level of clinical safety.
